I think people forget that Budapest was the second capital of the Hungarian-Ottoman Empire. All too often I encounter people who believe Budapest to be on the fringe of European culture, but it’s anything but that. The ease of traveling has made leaps and bounds in the last decade. Traveling has never been easier in my mind (aside from air travel which has just become annoying). Budapest, sometimes called the ‘Paris of the East’, is a city rich in culture and history. This city has seen its fair share of pivotal turning points in our planet’s history.
