New York City’s High Line is one of the better urban revitalization projects I’ve seen in a while. This elevated track that runs 1.45 miles from 12th street, in the Meatpacking District up to 30th st. Once used as a freight line, this track now serves as a aerial greenway making its way through the old but also revitalized warehousing district of the Westside. It’s a wonderful walk if you get the chance to visit New York City.

This shot I took of a friend while on a photo shoot. The theme was obviously jazz and the city. The High Line’s wonderful views of New York’s iconic avenues are a perfect backdrop for any Jazz player and its association with urban life.
