Capturing the morning mist or a late evening haze is not easy.  A camera’s sensor normally has a hard time exposing the ethereal look of particles in the air correctly.  I’m still not exactly sure why.  It usually comes out flat, with little depth.  However, fog can actually create an enormous amount of depth in your photo when captured and edited properly.

I’ve been playing around with various brush and overlay techniques to enhance the haze in my photo.  I put up a quick tutorial showing a technique I use.  The link can be found here.
